Trilhas do Rio de Janeiro, with Marcos Rabello and mountain guide Vitor Nunes (PNI), invites you to an unforgettable expedition to Pico Paraná.

Pico Paraná is the highest mountain in southern Brazil, located between Campina Grande do Sul and Antonina, in the Serra do Mar mountain range in Paraná.

🌿 One of Brazil's most spectacular mountains, both for its scenic beauty and its significance in the history of Brazilian mountaineering.

The summit was reached in 1941 by Rudolfo Stamm and Alfred Mysing, motivated by the scientific research of the famous German geographer Reinhard Maack, who sought to determine the mountain’s true elevation—a landmark moment in the history of mountaineering and the geosciences.

🌄 Pico Paraná rises majestically in the middle of the Atlantic Forest, reaching an elevation of 1,877 meters, with one of the greatest elevation differences in Brazil.
