Also known as Pedra dos Sete, Pico do Alcobaça is one of the most stunning mountains in Petrópolis. Surrounded by colorful vegetation, orchids, and bromeliads, this experience takes you into a world of adrenaline, in a fun atmosphere and surrounded by nature.
Note: An incredible view of the Cobiçado–Ventania Trail.

Level: Medium-Heavy

► MEETING POINT: São Francisco Xavier (Subway) Station – Next to the plant stand
DEPARTURE TIME: 6:00 a.m.

ESTIMATED ARRIVAL TIME: 8:00 p.m.
São Francisco Xavier Station (Subway – Tijuca Line)
Note: After leaving the meeting point, we always stop at a convenient location so participants can grab a coffee, use the restroom, etc. We do the same on the way back.

► WHAT TO BRING: (suggestions):
– A backpack large enough for your belongings;
– Hiking clothing
– 3.0 liters of beverages – sports drinks, water, juice;
– Cereal bars, cookies, sandwiches;
– Hiking shoes;
– Sunglasses, hat or cap;
– Insect repellent and sunscreen;
– First aid kit;
– Change of clothes, flip-flops;
– Parka, anorak;
– Trash bag;
– Flashlight.
