Located at an elevation of 489 meters on the southern slope of Pedra Branca State Park. This trail is rarely visited and is ideal for those who appreciate being in touch with nature in a peaceful setting that has been minimally affected by human activity.

From the summit of Pedra Rosilha, we have a spectacular view of the mountains that make up the Pedra Branca massif and part of Rio de Janeiro’s West Zone.

1ST MEETING POINT: Taquara Bus Terminal. Exit via the footbridge
(Across from the TAQUARA BRT Station) – Easy to find
DEPARTURE TIME: 8:00 a.m.

2nd MEETING POINT: Vargem Pequena Gas Station (Shell)
Estr. dos Bandeirantes, 13939 – Vargem Pequena
DEPARTURE TIME: 8:40 a.m.

Note: The hike begins at the second meeting point.
